Bookish Saturday (2)

Two weeks later, I've finally finished Just One Taste. Siggghhhh. I just don't know what happened. The first two books of this series were so good. They were fun and romantic. But this one was...a little clumsy. The character development wasn't that great (other than Jesse and Frankie, who were already developed from previous novels), the plot line was cheesy and anti-climatic. I still had fun reading it, for the sake of the series, and characters I know and love, but I was very happy to move on to my next book for the year. the last book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series, Forever.

This book came out last summer, and I have been waiting like a little kid on Christmas to read it! Three years ago, when I picked up the first one in the series, Shiver, at the Borders (that is now closed), I only did so because the cover was pretty. And then I read the first page, and it was love. You see, I'm a broke college student, and I don't get to spend a whole lot of money on new books, so I usually only buy books by my favorite authors, like Meg Cabot, Sarah Dessen, and Jennifer Crusie. But when this one came out, I knew I had to have it, so I spent my pocket money on it, and fell in love with Grace and Sam.

Now, Forever is the end of the series, and I'm very scared and sad to know how it will all end. If you haven't read anything by Maggie Stiefvater, do so, and quickly, because she is amazing!
